As the back-to-school season approaches, many families face the daunting challenge of buying essential school supplies for their kiddos.
Those supplies lists get longer and longer and with the increase in the cost of everything, our MacKID families might feel overwhelmed.
We found a few back-to-school events from local institutions that are stepping up to provide a solution. Some of these events offer free supplies and resources, ensuring every child has the necessary tools to succeed.

Back to School Blessing - First United Methodist Church, Denton TX
Join us for a special blessing for teachers, staff, and students of all ages at the beginning of the new school year! Those involved with education will be invited to stand and receive the well-wishes and prayers of the congregation at all of our services. Kids are invited to bring their backpacks to be prayed over and they will receive a special blessing tag to place on it. Adults are welcome to get a tag to place on your backpack, bag or keys for the school year! We look forward to lifting you up as we begin a new year!
